Artificial Intelligence (AI) Scientist - Cell Gene Therapies

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Artificial Intelligence Scientist to join our interdisciplinary team. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in machine learning, biological physics, and structural biology, with a focus on developing and implementing AI solutions for cell and gene therapy research.
- Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to analyze complex biological data, such as genomic sequences, protein structures, and cellular interactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of biologists, bioinformaticians, and data scientists to identify, design, and execute AI-driven research projects in the field of cell and gene therapies.
- Utilize Google Cloud Platform for scalable data processing, storage, and machine learning model deployment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and technological advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computational biology.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, presenting findings and insights through verbal and written reports.
- PhD in Machine Learning, Biological Physics, Structural Biology, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and experience with relevant tools and services.
- Certification as a Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in developing machine learning models for biological applications, preferably in cell and gene therapies.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Working knowledge of code development and deployment tools including GitHub and Docker.
- Experience working in a professional project management environment, preferably using Jira
- Expertise in leveraging either TensorFlow or PyTorch deep learning frameworks on large scale problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
