This is an engagement through Upwork’s Hybrid Workforce Solutions (HWS) Team. Our Hybrid Workforce Solutions Team is a global group of professionals that support Upwork’s business. Our HWS team members are located all over the world.
Work/Project Scope
- We are looking to add a team member to work on our real time streaming pipeline.
- Work will involve developing new features and fixing bugs in our streaming services
- Creating tooling to improve operations and automation
- Monitoring and adjusting the pipeline infrastructure capacity
Must Haves (Required Skills)
- Strong Java and Python skills
- Extensive systems and software engineering experience
- Real work experience with multiple AWS resources
- Kinesis, Lambda, Cloudwatch
- Experience in Linux and shell scripting
- Comfortable working with a globally distributed team with minimum supervision and attention to detail.
- Able to work full-time with an overlap of 8-11AM PST Pacific Standard Time.
