We are seeking a highly motivated Field Team Services Manager who plays a pivotal role in overseeing our global team of Field Team who are responsible for refractory audit services. This role entails strategic leadership, coordination, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient execution of field operations. The Field Services Team Manager will drive innovation, enhance operational excellence, and contribute to the growth of our services within the industry. This remote position will be based in the US with global travel required to visit customer sites worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the global team of Field Team, ensuring optimal performance, growth, and professional development.
  • Monitor and oversee field operations, ensuring adherence to established protocols, safety standards, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and optimize project assignments, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Continuously improve field service processes, workflows, and protocols to maximize efficiency and quality.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics, scorecards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and enhance team performance.
  • Lead the training and development initiatives for the Field Team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Foster strong client relationships by ensuring exceptional service delivery and addressing client inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify challenges and propose effective solutions to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate field activities and assignments across different geographic regions, ensuring consistent service delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate documentation of field activities, inspections, and repairs to ensure compliance with protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to provide insights, reports, and recommendations to drive continuous improvement in field operations.
  • Assist in managing budgetary aspects of field operations, including resource allocation and expense management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in managing field operations, preferably in the glass industry or related industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse global team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a track record of implementing process improvements.
  • Proficient in project management, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Willingness to travel globally as needed per business operations (approximately 75%+ travel required).
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in field operations.

  • This is a remote position that will require travel to our customers worldwide.
