About The Role

Platform Science is hiring a Product Manager focused on creating a product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ultimately building features, processes, and tools that let Fleet and Partner Developers integrate their Solutions with our Platform in easier and more meaningful ways. Reporting to the Manager of Product Management, Virtual Vehicle Platform, and working with a team of passionate colleagues, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company. In this role, you will face product challenges as you seek to find the optimal balance between the short-term product roadmap and the long-term vision of our industry-leading Virtual Vehicle platform. You are always asking questions to learn more about the ‘Why’ and ‘How’ of the world through constant interactions with our customers and partners. Essential Responsibilities

  • Empathize with Developers as your primary customer and act as their internal voice of customer throughout the broader Platform organization.
  • Help define a business, technology, and user experience vision for how Platform Science delivers mobile and web integration interfaces to the platform’s developer ecosystem, and work with your team (and others) to distill this into incremental deliverables.
  • Travel onsite to Customers and Partners to help drive Developer discovery, GTM, Roadmap, and other critical activities surrounding your product area.
  • Partner on GTM and Pre-Sales activities serving as the product expert and assisting Platform Science teams with launch and product positioning activities.
  • Manage the entire product life cycle by documenting Customer Journeys, defining User Stories with detailed Acceptance Criteria, and meeting your Scrum Team’s definition of ready; participate in daily standup and sprint reviews of engineering and product design efforts.


  • Required experience
    • 3+ years of Product Management experience with a heavy emphasis on building developer centric products and / or integration capabilities
    • Strong business acumen that lets you represent Platform Science in front of external partners and customers.
  • Traits of a successful candidate
    • Ability to operate autonomously. You are driven, and have a bias towards action.
    • A history of advocacy for end users, the business, buyers, and partners; ability to find the optimal balance to deliver successful products to market.
    • Exceptional communication skills that allow you to bridge the gap of a team spread across the country, and Partners across the world.
    • Exhibits a positive, can-do attitude and is willing to work in a hyper-growth environment. In other words, roll up your sleeves and thrive in a fast-paced start-up.
  • Preferred but not required:
    • First-hand experience developing applications on mobile and web platforms
    • First-hand experience working within Platform and/or Developer ecosystems

This is an exempt role. Our job titles for each posting may span across more than one job level. The estimated base salary for this role is between $100,000 and $165,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target range for new hire base salaries across all US locations. Compensation packages are based on many factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, work experience, relevant trainings and certifications, business needs, market demands and specific geographical location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
