The Solutions Team is the lynchpin to ensuring our cutting edge product delivers measurable value to real customers in real operating settings. In this role, you will interact with all parts of the organization in order to drive individual partner and customer success with our technology. Their success is our success and this role is vital to both.

Responsibilities of the Solutions Team

  • Pre-sales: Support sales and prospect meetings with technical knowledge, use-case analysis, qualification, and demos.
  • Solutions design: Work collaboratively with our partners to design cells that meets the requirements of the end customers.
  • Installation support: Ensure the smooth deployment of the cell at the partner and/or customer site and collaborate in order to achieve the expected level of performance.
  • Ongoing support: Be the first point of contact when there are technical issues, and lead upgrades, updates, and other technical improvements. 
  • Ongoing technical leadership and expansion support: Lead the technical relationship with customers, providing help, education and thought-partnership, while also sharing insight with your colleagues in Product.

In addition to delivering the work outlined above, Solutions engineers are also expected to be builders. They should be excited to design and implement workflows, content, processes and/or tooling to improve outcomes on each of the five areas above. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure that what we do not only ensures the current customer’s success, but also sets us up to scale and grow that success to new customers reliably over time.

  • You have grit in solving thorny problems and enjoy the work of driving to creative, pragmatic solutions 
  • You have technical proficiency in writing, reading and understanding code and can decompose technical problems into their component parts. The specific languages are less important than your ability to learn new ones.
  • You can manage big projects with dependencies and complexities and are biased to action in getting things done
  • You have great attention to detail, while also making connections to the broader customer need and overall product roadmap
  • You enjoy working across organizational lines with a variety of people all focused on the same goals
  • You relate to customers and are driven by their success. You seek not just to understand what they want, but to actively define and shape what they will most need for the future
