You are the technical subject matter expert, focused on ensuring a successful implementation of the Birdie solution for and with our care partners. You are a self-driven individual with a “get it done” attitude and a passion to solve complex business and technology problems.

As a Technical Architect, you are part of the Professional Services team for our largest care partners. You are creative and energetic, with a positive and a pragmatic, delivery-focused attitude that wins the respect of those around you and makes you a trusted technical advisor. You’re willing to be hands-on when you need to be. You balance innovation and intellectual rigour with realism. You love technology and want to keep on learning. You’re genuinely interested in understanding the challenges our care partners face and how you can help them.

🦸‍♀️ How you will contribute

  • Collaborate with key external and internal stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectations

  • Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with our care partner’s business objectives; identify gaps between customer's current and desired end states

  • Act as a conduit between Product, Customer Success and Sales by mapping out and defining the architectural relationship between partner’s technology stack, in order to plan the most efficient implementation and expansion journey

  • Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Birdie implementation

  • Help support the modelling of the commercial expansion opportunities associated with each implementation

  • Effectively communicate partner needs to the Product teams for future product enhancements i.e. Voice of Customer representative

  • Collect and document competitive intelligence

🤩 We’d love to hear from you if

  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex technical concepts in an easy to understand manner (eg. APIs, data integration and migration, data platforms and BI tooling)

  • Knowledge of data integration tools with different care planning, rostering, payroll and invoicing business systems (eg. CARAS, Cold Harbour, Xero, Sage, Zellis, Snowflake, Power BI, Snowflake, My Learning Cloud, Liquid Logic, GP Connect, Radar..etc.)

  • Strong background in design/development/implementation of large web-based or client server systems, or complete software product lifecycle exposure

  • Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, deployment methodologies, business intelligence and analytics

  • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with C Suite and senior executives

  • Experience building technical champions (eg. IT Project Managers, Data Analytics Lead, Data Engineers, Technical Managers…etc) that influence partner direction and positive business outcomes

  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills, with very engaging interpersonal skills including large scale presentations

  • Strong prioritisation, time management skills with a strong “get it done” attitude

  • Strong collaboration and execution track record as a team player, working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (Sales, Product, Engineering and Customer Success) to drive the project forward

  • Willingness to travel within the UK up to 10% to support partner engagements, industry events, and internal development.

These are our ideal requirements, but we know some people are less likely to apply for the role unless they are 100% qualified. We promote a diverse, inclusive and empowering culture at Birdie, so please apply if you meet the majority of these competencies.
